It was a great day!  Lia was wonderful . . . so sweet.  She gained more confidence as a

Brooks girl and even sang in her crib tonight before she nodded off.  This was the first

time we heard her sweet voice . . . and in her story to her imaginary world, she spoke of

Ma Ma and Ba Ba.  Pretty darn thrilling, we must say.

And also today was special because Hilary Sandberg, a great friend and lovely daughter of

Pastor Mike and Kim back in Puyallup, flew in to spend a few days with us.  Hilary lives in

the Chengdu area in Eastern China where she is a Chinese student.

So, we are all doing well.  Please keep praying during the next few days for our health and

safety.  Lia does have a cough that seems to bug her around 2 AM each morning for about

20 mins.  That's about 10 AM Pacific Time.  If you have a minute, shoot up a prayer for her

about then.  Thanks all!
