Today we had no official business to complete, so we slept in until 7:30 - yeah!

We got all the girls dress in red silks and went to the White Swan Hotel for the traditional

red couch picture.  Lia made Brooks girl #3 who found the red couch process a bit

upsetting.  Like her sisters before her, Lia pushed out her bottom lip and began to wail. 

A few of the snapshots turned out well.

She had a nice nap, then we had dinner with the Allen's from Indianapolis and their Chinese

friends.  The restaurant offered fresh things for the pickens:  sand worms, big black beetles,

snakes, eels, and just about every fish ('cept catfish).

We travel to Lia's orphanage on tomorrow.  Please pray that she will be at peace when

seeing her nannies and friends, and, that when we depart the orphanage, she will be happy

to be in the arms of Jan, Steve, Lily and Lacy.  Thanks everyone!
