Day 14

Consulate

Today's Journal

Today we officially waved goodbye to Lia’s province as we climbed aboard the KTT

Hong Kong Express that landed us safely in HG about an hour and a half later.  It was

a really fun way to get here.  The train was very fast and very clean.  We ordered a cup

of noodles for each of the girls and were amazed to see Lia “slurp” hers down like there

was no tomorrow!

We’re staying the night in the Sheraton downtown Hong Kong.  Lily was so cute to tell

me upon check in that she “guessed” this was a ‘no running’ place.  Ha!!!

We enjoyed strolling the incredibly crowded streets this afternoon and also spending

some time down by Victoria Harbor.  It was very hazy so our pictures of the water aren’t

very clear.  Hoping tomorrow morning brings bright blue skies so we can get a few more.

Tomorrow, we’ll catch the 1 p.m. flight to San Francisco and then onward to Seattle after

that.  We’ll arrive at SeaTac at about the very same time on the very same day!!

We’re so looking forward to being home.  We’ve truly been blessed from above with the

most fun and relaxing trip half way round the world and we’re delighted so many of you

could join us along the way.  Your prayers and concern have certainly helped keep us

healthy and safe here, and also helped bond Lia to us from the very start with minimal

trauma to her little soul.  Many, many thanks to you prayer warriors for so lovingly

standing in the gap.

Once home the real living begins and we invite you to stick around as we’ll continue

posting pictures and progress of our little Lia on our website.

Merry, merry Christmas to everyone!!
