The day we have waited almost a year for started out in the wee dark hours

of the morning when we arose at 3 a.m. to head to the airport to start

working our way to Lia..  Thankfully we stayed overnight at a hotel near the

airport so were almost first in line to get our bags checked in and ourselves

thru security without too much fuss.  We had smooth sailing to

San Francisco where we boarded our plane that would take us to China

almost 12 hours later.  The girls were so cute enjoying a few squeals of

excitement here and there on their flights and loved sitting in the cockpit

 with the crew for a few minutes before taking off to Beijing.

When we arrived at Beijing, we were met by our guide, Eleanor.  She looks

to be lots of fun while we are here in Beijing.

The girls are currently sawing logs (7:30 PM).  We are ready to join them.
